The TS-2000 Rod Seal is a highly effective and designed to achieve leakproof performance, self-compensating and self-relieving to effectively adapt to any fluctuations or deviations in mechanical condition.
The 'Jewel' Rod Gland Assembly is externally removable without having to dissemble the cylinder and the long bearing surface is inboard of the seals, ensuring the lubrication of the cylinder is maintained with the help of an o-ring which also seals the gland and head while providing a prevailing torquest-type lock.
The Double-Service Wiperseal™, included as a secondary seal, works to eliminate any traces of oil that may adhere to the rod while the piston is extended and cleaned on the return stroke.
Piston rod studs up to a 2.000" diameter are available alongside piston rods which are made from medium carbon steel, induction casehardened with a 10 RMS finish and hard chrome-plated. Both SAE “O” ring ports and optional NPTF ports are featured as standard while oversized NPTF and SAE ports are offered on request. These cushions can be arranged at the head end, cap end, or both ends with the same envelope and mounting dimensions.
